A new strategy prospectus for BirdLife Australia
THE PROJECT
BirdLife Australia is the country’s leading organisation dedicated to the conservation of native birds and their habitats. Through science, advocacy and community action, BirdLife works to protect Australia’s unique and irreplaceable birdlife for future generations and needed a compelling way to tell their story and invite others to join that mission.
THE CHALLENGE
With the launch of a new organisational strategy, BirdLife Australia needed a clear, compelling way to share their vision with supporters, partners, funders and policymakers. The challenge was to present the strategy not as a dry or technical document, but as a vibrant, inspiring call to action — something people could connect with both emotionally and intellectually.
THE SOLUTION
We partnered with BirdLife Australia and the brilliant creative team at Rareland to produce a visually stunning, reader-friendly prospectus that brought the strategy to life.
Our role included:
-
Writing a narrative that ensured clarity, accuracy, and alignment with BirdLife Australia’s voice and goals
-
Project managing the collaboration with Rareland, ensuring a smooth and productive design process.
The result was a beautifully crafted document that not only outlined BirdLife’s strategic priorities but celebrated the diversity and wonder of Australia’s birdlife—making the case for why this work matters.
THE RESULTS
The strategy prospectus is a key tool in BirdLife Australia’s advocacy and stakeholder engagement efforts and is used to brief partners, inspire donors, and support policy engagement by clearly articulating BirdLife’s goals and the impact of their work.
The collaboration with Rareland resulted in a document that is as visually compelling as it is informative - strengthening BirdLife Australia’s identity as a bold, forward-looking conservation leader.
By helping translate strategic intent into engaging storytelling, this project played a small but meaningful role in supporting the future of Australia’s birds.
